Introducing my first pattern: Myco the Mushroom!

Finished dimensions: 8 ¼ in (21 cm) tall, 6 in (15 cm) wide

Myco has an important role to play in the ecosystem, returning nutrients to the soil so that new life can grow. They are a peaceful and curious spirit who roams through the forest, keeping the circle of life turning.

Myco is based on Amanita muscaria, but you can make them as any mushroom by using a different color yarn and leaving out or changing the spots.

Hey, sorry, can you possibly help me out here? Round 11 to 13 don’t add up. 3 sc dec from 24 is 19 stitches not 20, if I amend that to decrease to 20 as is counted I can do round 12 fine, but then again sc, dec from 15 to 9 stitches doesn’t work, sc, dec until I’ve done 9 stitches is only using 13 of the previous 15 stitches. If I continue with the sc dec around then I end up with 10 stitches. Help?

I can amend round 11 by doing 3 sc, dec until the last repeat and do 4 stitches there instead, leaving me with 20, complete round 12 as written for 15 stitches, then using all 15 stitches for round 13’s sc, dec to get 10 stitches instead of 9. Will this still work out okay?
